A Christian school in the heart
of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Cornerstone Christian School is a loving, educational community that spiritually and academically equips, challenges, inspires, and builds up students from early childhood education through high school to be leaders and impact the world around them for Christ.

CCS students are given a classical Christian education with a 21st century learning approach. This is achieved by providing individualized, focused education through small classroom sizes and intentional family partnerships; each supporting students’ future success.

Students at CCS develop a strong Biblical foundation and they are challenged to achieve academic excellence. They are encouraged to use their gifts and abilities to positively impact the community around them while seeking to follow God’s plan for their lives.

CCS Student Academics shine in the Roaring Fork Valley!

Cornerstone Christian School students academically outscore local public school peers.

Preschool

Research shows that high quality preschool education gives students a foundation of success for the rest of their academic career. At CCS, we keep our class sizes small so each child can have their developmental needs individually met. Through center play, small group and large group instruction time, outside adventures, creativity, and high quality care our preschool students are welcomed into a caring and nurturing environment.

Elementary School

Our elementary school builds the foundations of learning that lead to academic success for students through their lifetime. Our goal is to facilitate a learning environment where students obtain the needed skills to succeed in their literacy, math, history, science, social and emotional learning. We strive to help each student learn, develop a love for knowledge and learning, and to see God as the orchestrator of intelligence.

Middle School

Middle school is the age of debate! Students enter into our block schedule from 6-8th grade where they learn from experts in literacy, science, math, history, Latin, art, music and STEM. Students are encouraged to use logic to figure out the ways and the whys of knowledge, the world around them, and who God is in their lives. Through rigorous studies, discipleship and mentorship from staff, as well as serving within the CCS community, middle school students graduate from our program ready to excel in high school.

Vision

In 2011 the leadership of Cornerstone Christian Center came to realize that we had barely tapped into the full potential of our children’s potential and the unlimited possibilities through Christian education to unlock greatness in our kids. It became a passionate desire of our church to educate children in the history and values of our Christian faith, passing the light of Christ to the next generation through a living and powerful relationship with Jesus Christ. Our desire was and is to teach our children not merely what to think as a Christian, but how to think as a Christian, living in our modern day world with wisdom, discernment and integrity. Our desire is to create an environment rich with ideas while revealing the excellences of the Scriptures and the rewards of living a godly life. Ultimately our desire is to produce great Christian minds that will be tomorrow’s great Christian leaders.
